HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Well it’s been 365 days and one lap around the sun since the team celebrated Jesse and Marius’ birthdays last year in Whistler. Once again this year was wild times for the team.

The day started out with a mass push to our backcountry zone, eight riders, two filmers and 1 photographer made the hell sled out to our spot. We waited as weather went in and out all day but we were rewarded with some great shots, some big stuff went down that you’ll be very very stoked on in the movie. The days have been really fun up here; with everyone hanging together it makes the hard work go a little easier.

Once we headed down off the hill and realized that the weather for the next day was going to be a little less than perfect, it was time to celebrate Jesse and Marius’ birthdays. The whole team headed out for a good dinner and some drinks. Good times were had by all, Casey kept the crew in stitches with his constant toasts to the crew, certain members of the crew including myself may or may not have tried to drink the weather for the next day blue and also may or may not have ended up the victim of a late night magic marker attack. Great times with friends!
MFR has turned into a full on sled neck
The team is back at it full throttle already. Max Legend just arrived and even LNP and Will are out here. We’ll check back in a day or two with some more updates from the backcountry, we’ll even sneak some picture treats in there to give you a little taste of some of the action that has been going down.
